AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens

AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. This course can be tailored to incorporate your company’s specific exposure control plan and infection control protocol. 

This course is designed for workers in the commercial market who must receive training per OSHA standard 1910.1030 and for anyone else who may encounter exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

• How to protect yourself from blood or blood-containing materials
• How to act when exposed to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace
• How to inform your supervisor about the incident
• How to report any exposure to blood or blood-containing materials in the workplace

AHA Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens is a video-based, instructor-led course. Following each lesson, students will participate in review questions. 

CME/CE credits are not offered for this course.
